Dianna Andersen for Pleasant Grove city council

Smart Growth. Strong Community. Proven Leadership.

About Dianna

I’ve been proud to call Pleasant Grove home since 1991. My husband and I raised our seven children here, and now our 17 grandchildren love coming “home.” Over the past 16 years, I’ve had the privilege of serving our city on the Planning Commission and City Council. I believe in smart growth, responsible budgeting, and making decisions that improve the quality of life for every resident. With your support, I’m ready to continue serving Pleasant Grove for four more years.

Why I’m Running

I’m running for re-election because I believe Pleasant Grove deserves steady leadership during a time of growth. My goal is to protect what makes our city special, our neighborhoods, our traditions, and our sense of community, while planning responsibly for the future. I want every family to feel confident that Pleasant Grove will remain a safe, thriving place for generations.

My

Priorities

  • Pleasant Grove is growing quickly, and we need to manage that growth wisely. I’ve worked to attract businesses that strengthen our economy while protecting the character of our community. What was once empty land near the freeway is now home to thriving shops and restaurants, and that success benefits every resident.

  • Roads, water, sewer, emergency response, snow removal, these are the services we all rely on every day. Over the last two years, I’ve supported over $15 million in road improvements, with another $13 million underway. I believe in investing in skilled city employees so we aren’t just a “training city” that loses good people to larger towns.

When neighbors bring up concerns, I visit sites in person and talk with staff so I can see issues firsthand. That helps me make decisions based on real experiences, not just reports.

  • To me, fiscal responsibility means honoring every tax dollar and making sure it’s spent wisely. That doesn’t mean never spending money, it means allocating resources to departments that use them effectively to protect our health, safety, and quality of life.

  • Public safety will always be a top priority. I’ve supported investments in police, fire, and emergency services, as well as improvements in our parks and recreation programs. Whether it’s a firefighter helping my mom after a fall or watching my grandson play T-ball, I know how important these services are to every family in Pleasant Grove.
